What We Do

Since 1989, we have led the effort to unite Central and Western Nebraska in our shared goals of growth, innovation, and economic development.

The Nebraska Cooperative Government was formed by local Nebraskans in 1989 to generate income for communities. Our efforts are funded by a unique lottery system authorized under Nebraska Law. The system is managed by Lotto Nebraska and has raised $50,000,000 for local, participating communities. The money has been used for a myriad of community betterment projects including: parks, libraries, senior centers, equipment for fire departments, and much more. Participating communities include over 100 counties, cities, and villages with a total population of over 100,000.
